CLINICAL PRINT COLLATERAL

Print collateral in a clinical setting is its own beast. Not only does it need to be eye catching, it often needs to be written and outlined for a 4th or 5th grade reading level if it’s patient facing. Here are a few examples of my work.

Why Iron?: I created a tri-fold brochure for a doctor’s office on the importance of iron in nutrition. The client requested that the content be engaging and educational as well as accessible at a 4th grade reading level. I also designed the look of this brochure and used color and typeface to make the tri-fold an informative “easy grab”.

“Golden Hour”: This is a one-pager for sales folks to distribute to labor and delivery nurses and bedside caregivers. As L&D is a very specific specialty but also a very emotional specialty, it was important to bring in familiar key terms, while also showing that we understand the emotional component to this important work.

HH-PI eCQM: New CMS changes mean that hospitals that accept patients covered under CMS will need to mandatorily report Stage II HAPIs. This print piece is one piece of collateral in a content ecosystem designed to capture information and get demo requests.
